About us
East Pierce Firefighters Union IAFF Local 3520 is the Union that represents the 111 uniformed personnel of East Pierce Fire & Rescue in Pierce County, Washington. International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 3576 was founded on June 17, 1993 by the Firefighters employed by Bonney Lake Fire Department.
On June 1, 1999 the Firefighters of Bonney Lake Fire Department, merged with Lake Tapps Fire Department, IAFF Local 3520 and formed East Pierce Fire & Rescue and consolidated into East Pierce Professional Firefighters Union, IAFF Local 3520. On January 1, 2007 the Firefighters of IAFF Local 2877, Sumner Fire Department consolidated into East Pierce Fire & Rescue.
